As a Committee Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized support related to the Secretariat's government wide oversight of Federal Advisory committees, and providing key input in policy development to the Director and staff of the Secretariat, as well as to the interagency partners involved in implementing government-wide policy under the Federal Advisory Committee Act.
The Office of Asset and Transportation Management is responsible for ensuring that government wide policies encourage agencies to develop and utilize the best, most cost effective management practices for the conduct of their specific programs.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $114,590 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience implementing and/or overseeing advisory committees; including the creation, operation, and termination of such committees.
Bargaining Unit status: Not Applicable
Relocation-related expenses are not approved and will be your responsibility.
Travel expenses associated with interviews may be approved. Determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis.
