Specialized experience for the GS-13 is: one year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is progressively responsible experience in performing the full range of pre-award and post award activities utilizing various types of contracts such as fixed price, various cost types, requirements type, performance based and multiple award schedules for the acquisition of information technology and telecommunications equipment, services, or commodities.
