This announcement establishes a register of qualified applicants who will be periodically referred for employment consideration for positions in Washington, D.C. or the local commuting area based on the hiring needs of agencies across the Federal government. In Information Technology Management positions, your typical work assignments might include:
- Learning the scope and foundation of the information technology responsibilities and assisting IT specialists with day-to-day operations;
- Helping other identify and resolve issues and problems relating to network configuration, systems services, or other IT matters;
- Designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications software; and/or
- Conducting technical analysis of IT requirements and capabilities to determine needed equipment changes to meet customer and business needs.
