As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, PT, 0343, 4, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Ensure business and compliance requirements across functional areas are represented and aligned within GAO's enterprise-wide initiatives and upgrades. Participates in enterprise governance forums related to data, systems, and digital transformation.
Engage in management decision making related to technology practice, policy, and architecture, including those using proven technologies and emerging technologies and practices to improve and promote operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Provides strategic direction for business operations by aligning technology, data governance, risk management, performance, and integration priorities with agency mission and operational goals.
Coordinates and collaborates with data owners across the organization in areas that include integrated assessment, service design, change management, transition readiness, quality assurance, operational readiness, testing, and customer support processes.
Develops and presents product vision to relevant stakeholders and team members. Prepares and maintains transition plans, roadmaps, and other documentation for system/initiative changes. Identifies risks related to data integrity and reporting accuracy and recommends mitigation strategies.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the BAND IV level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band level, PT-III, CS-III, PE-IIB equivalent to the Band III level or GS-14 level in the federal service, which has equipped the applicant with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience is defined as experience leading cross-functional efforts, and strategically coordinate with business stakeholders and IT support organizations to establish priorities, translate business needs into requirements, ensure data and systems integration, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection, analysis, quality, and reporting.
