Help
  • Performs all of the following duties on a recurring basis: Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records.
  • Able to work alone. Know the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Know simple food handling techniques. Able to work safely.
  • Maintains related cash records. Able to use simple arithmetic. Receives verbal and written assignments. Accomplishes work on own initiative. Work is evaluated for accuracy, promptness and good customer relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40lbs.
  • Requires constantly standing, stooping, bending, walking and reaching.
  • A physical assessment is required.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation fora Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Must be willing and able to work Monday through Friday 0900am - 1500pm and weekends as required.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
  • Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.

PCS Costs
  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.

  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
