Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the principal logistics services counsel to the PAE MS, Capability Portfolios, and resource sponsors, delivering authoritative recommendations for enterprise wide logistics services such as ILA/ILS certifications etc.
  • You will formulate and direct the execution of the strategic vision and long-range business plan for the logistics services directorate, defining the service portfolio, establishing pricing models, and ensuring the financial solvency.
  • You will manage the full lifecycle of logistics services, from requirements definition and agreement formulation to service delivery, customer feedback, and continuous process improvement.
  • You will exercises executive oversight for the implementation of modern Logistics IT tools and systems, driving efficiency and data driven decision making across the portfolio.
  • You will direct the development of budgetary estimates, defends funding and rate structures to customers and stakeholders, and executes resources in a fiscally responsible manner to ensure the financial health of the Logistics Services Directorate.
  • You will assign work based on priorities, assignment difficulty, and employee capabilities, setting short and long term plans for work to be accomplished by subordinates.
  • You will direct all PHS and T and Material Reclamation activities for PAE MS, ensuring a resilient and responsive supply chain that supports the full lifecycle of mission systems.

  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NH-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing enterprise-wide logistics operations, ILS certifications, and Contested Logistics mitigation (WARP); managing organizational budgets and/or customer agreements to deliver cost-effective, mission-essential weapon system support.
