Duties

Help
  • You will collaborate with division directors, branch heads and technical managers to keep all informed in the planning, scheduling, and follow-up of work progress.
  • You will review and interpret directive, instructions, regulations, and delegations of authority for potential impact on program objective, operating policies, work operations, and progress.
  • You will provide support to lead program analyst in regard to budget planning and execution.
  • You will perform, as needed, liaison duties to ensure Division meets training, safety, security and other command/agency requirements.

Qualifications

GS-11 LEVEL
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following:

  1. Evaluating administrative or programmatic operations by analyzing trends, identifying process bottlenecks, and formulating actionable recommendations to improve efficiency.
  2. Synthesizing complex programmatic data from multiple internal and external databases to author comprehensive briefs, white papers, and decision-ready packages for senior leadership.
  3. Managing the complete lifecycle of organizational taskings, including assigning action items, validating response quality, and enforcing operational deadlines across departments.
  4. Executing budget-support duties, such as monitoring fund distribution, analyzing expenditure rates, and predicting potential funding shortages to ensure compliance with financial controls.
  5. Analyzing newly issued directives, policy changes, and organizational schedules to determine their impact on current local operating procedures and resource allocation.
  6. Designing, implementing, and maintaining customized spreadsheets, tracking databases, or workflow systems to monitor project milestones and report on overall mission accomplishment.
  7. Resolving complex administrative and programmatic problems independently by leveraging personal initiative, problem-solving skills, and coordination with external stakeholders.
GS-09 LEVEL
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following:
  1. Gathering, compiling, and organizing quantitative or qualitative data from databases, spreadsheets, and files to assist in identifying operational trends or program anomalies.
  2. Drafting preliminary program reports, briefing materials, and graphical charts under direct Supervision to present administrative and programmatic findings to higher-level analysts or leadership.
  3. Tracking and routing organizational taskers, action items, and external correspondence through electronic management systems (such as ETMS2) to ensure timelines are met.
  4. Reconciling basic financial transactions, tracking office expenditures against established budgets, and identifying variances for review by resource managers.
  5. Inputting, retrieving, and manipulating data within standard office software suites and specialized databases to maintain accurate tracking of schedules and program milestones.
  6. Participating in basic workflow evaluations or process mapping exercises to identify areas where administrative procedures can be standardized or streamlined.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-11 LEVEL:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
