The incumbent regularly walks through public-use areas, corridors, stairways, ramps, and other park facilities. Work in the cavern requires daily access by elevator and periodic walking along the cavern trail, including walking down the trail approximately once each week to clean handrails. Some portions of the trail may be sloped, uneven, or slippery. The incumbent occasionally lifts and carries custodial supplies, refuse, tools, and equipment. The incumbent occasionally cleans bodily fluids or biological material in accordance with the applicable park standard operating procedure.
