Duties

Help

  1. Serves as the principal advisor and coordinator for FOG activities supporting PAE C3BM ASE efforts.
  2. Acts as the primary orchestrator and workflow manager for all external and internal taskings and suspenses assigned to the ASE Division.
  3. Serves as the primary operational Liaison between the ASE Director/Deputy and external/partner organizations, including the 66th Air Base Group, PAE, AFLCMC, AFRL, AFMC, MAJCOMs, HQ USAF, and geographically separated units.
  4. Provides comprehensive strategic oversight and cross-functional synchronization across the FOG's functional domains: Administrative, Business, Talent Operations, and Engagement.
  5. Briefs senior division leadership on critical management operations, tasker performance metrics, training compliance status, KMS initiatives, onboarding pipeline readiness, and emergent program issues.

  • (Continuation) or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
  • The employee must, within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.

Qualifications

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in serving as principal advisor for Front Office Group (FOG) activities supporting PAE C3BM ASE efforts; orchestrating division workflows, taskers, and external stakeholder liaison; and applying analytical methods to optimize Air Force and DoD acquisition operations. Experience also includes managing human capital and training compliance; synchronizing budget and resource estimates; administering Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) for workflow governance; ensuring adherence to federal and DoD directives; and delivering executive briefings on critical division operations.

NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

  • Expert knowledge and skill in utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate, analyze, and optimize organizational efficiency, workflow management, tasker systems, and program operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Air Force and DoD acquisition organizations, structures, missions, and functions to successfully coordinate human capital initiatives across Mission Integration Teams, manage personnel onboarding/offboarding cycles, track training compliance with UTMs, and support program requirements.
  • Advanced capability to research, interpret, and apply federal laws, DoD regulations, and Air Force policies to ensure organizational programs, resource allocations, and tasker responses are fully compliant with higher headquarters directives.
  • Operational knowledge of DoD financial management, resource planning, and budget formulation processes sufficient to facilitate, review, and synchronize annual and multi-year program estimates.
  • Practical knowledge and skill in administering Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) (e.g., SharePoint, milSuite, or equivalent enterprise collaborative suites) to design workflows, structure data repositories, and enforce digital record governance.
  • Exceptional skill in oral and written communications to prepare executive-level briefings, draft strategic correspondence, and effectively represent senior leadership in high-level defense and acquisition forums.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

This is an acquisition demonstration project position NH-03 equivalent to a GS-12 to GS-13.
