Provides government oversight for contract support, leading efforts to improve agency software applications and Enterprise Core Services.
Analyzes and documents user requirements to identify needs, evaluates technical feasibility, suggests alternate approaches, and develops solutions in terms of software design.
Provide management and expertise of hardware and software components supporting virtualization and storage technologies.
Performs design, engineering, deployment, implementation, and maintenance on virtualization and storage technologies.
Ensures that government and team technical activities follow established organizational standards, procedures, policies, regulations and guidance.
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months.
Incumbent must be cleared for Category Two Presidential Support Duty based on a "Yankee White" Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as a condition of employment.
Incumbent is subject to drug testing upon entry into this position and on a random basis thereafter.
Incumbent must physically report to their duty station in certain situations where non-essential employees are excused.
Incumbent may be placed in a 24/7 standby or recall status and be required to carry a mobile phone or other similar device to be directly recalled to duty from a recall roster.
Incumbent may also be required to physically report to an alternate duty station during the activation of a Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan.
