Advise USAJFKSWCS Engineer on multiple facilities in various locations.
Provides direct support to ensure facilities are adequate to meet unit training requirements.
Reviews and completes inspections to determine barracks conditions or requirements. Responsible for the periodic or scheduled assessments, audits, reviews, and inspections to determine barracks conditions or requirements.
Prepare work orders which include drawings of existing areas involved, changes required, and detailed descriptions of the work equipment involved to plan and assign work.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
TDY travel is required 10% of the time.
One year trial/probationary period may be required, unless previously completed.
Incumbent required to lift moderately heavy equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Management and Coordination of facility repairs and renovations, maintenance, utilities, and fire prevention; 2) Preparing work orders and managing the process through execution; 3) Responsible for the management of space allocation over multiple buildings; 4) Responsible for barracks management and occupation accountability; and 5) Providing and preparing facility logistical guidance, policies and procedures to Commands such as DPW public works and Construction entities.
