This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment.
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a heavy engineering equipment license.
This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete and pass the annual Medical Examination administered by the Anniston Army Depot.
This position has Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility responsibilities and requires successful completion of training IAW ANAD’s RCRA permit.
This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations.
This position requires the incumbent to successfully meet and maintain the requirements of the Physical Security of Arms, Ammunitions and Explosives IAW AR 190-11.
This position requires random drug testing under the Army Drug-Free Workplace Program. Employees must sign DA Form 5019 and, if not already in a testing position, pass a drug test before starting.

Work requires reaching, bending, turning and moving hands, arms, feet and legs. There is continuous jerking and jolting while operating equipment. When performing duties described in para 2, incumbent is required to frequently lift weights up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
Incumbent is exposed to noise, dust, and fumes from the motor and exhaust, and is exposed to outside weather extremes and danger of overturning equipment. There is possibility of cuts, bruises and broken bones as a result of accidents. When performing duties described in para 2. is exposed to toxic agents and to the possibility of flash fires and explosions which could cause serious injury, dismemberment or loss of life. There is also possibility of burns, mashed fingers and other serious accidents. Wears such safety equipment as glasses, radio-active detection badges, goggles, face shield, flameproof coveralls, rubber aprons and respirator as necessary.
