Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes at least 2 out of 3 of the following: 1) Analyzing real estate plans, design memoranda, or right-of-way drawings for a real estate office; OR 2) Advising clients on the acquisition or disposal of real estate; OR 3) Conducting field investigations to determine what land or improvement will be acquired for a real estate office. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs MAY be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations. Also depending on funding availability and management discretion.
A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY be offered, depending on funding availability and management discretion. An Incentive must be requested by selected applicant at the time of the tentative job offer and approved prior to hire. An Incentive requires a signed service agreement.
Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
