Summary

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Incumbent must pass initial and annual physical medical examinations.
Incumbent must pass initial and semi-annual weapons qualifications.
Designated drug-testing position – must pass initial drug test and subject to random drug testing (sign DA5019).
This position is Mission Essential.
Incumbent must possess a valid, State-issued motor vehicle driver's license.
Incumbent must meet the requirements under the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (sign DD2760).
Incumbent must pass initial and annual Physical Ability Test (PAT), IAW AR 190-56.
Incumbent must meet annual training and re-certification requirements.
Incumbent must complete initial and annual CPR and First-Aid requirements.
Incumbent must be able to work shifts, overtime, and weekends, as required.
Incumbent must wear the prescribed uniform and maintain a high standard of appearance and hygiene.
Incumbent must be able to wear chemical-protection equipment, as required.
Incumbent must successfully complete the Civilian Police Academy.
This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment.
Incumbent must obtain and maintain Cyber work role: level: 1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

I have one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level which includes conducting traffic enforcement, and physical security patrols across an installation or complex facility; performing preliminary and follow-up investigations of crimes, accidents, and security breaches; operating law enforcement dispatch, communications consoles, and automated systems, and training lower-graded officers/trainees in police procedures. (GS-07).
