Duties

Help
  • Serves as senior Logistics Management Specialists in the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases involving one or more countries.
  • Develop Standard Request for Information (RFI) Packages for non-PEO/PM managed items to include pricing and availability; capabilities, specs, and performance data using a Total Package Approach (TPA).
  • Coordinate with contractor entities as appropriate to glean required price and availability data to address applicable Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE).
  • Prepare and submit Contract Requirements Package (CRP)/acquisition requirements package (ARP), including Contract Data Requirements (CDRLS), Statement of Work (SOW), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
  • Provide configuration control/engineering changes; develop Technical Assessment Control Plan (TACP); conduct technical briefings and oversee integration efforts.
  • Provide replacement interchangeable items and/or next higher assemblies, review possible excessive quantities, review repair/rebuild programs as a source of supply, make acquisition decisions to supply requisitions.
  • Monitor and manage Acquisition performance from cradle-to-grave including: scope, schedule of work, cost, payment schedules, problem resolution and financial services.
  • Analyze actual and planned logistical, financial, operational, supply, procurement, transportation, maintenance, and training performance to ensure the case is executed in accordance with the Case Master Plan.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Experience applying laws, regulations and policies to logistic management operations in support of foreign countries; 2) Preparing requests for price availability and data for logistic management operations; and 3) Analyzing logistical management concepts and techniques in order to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of actions supporting mission requirement.

Education cannotbe substituted for experience.
