Summary

This is a Term position Not To Exceed 6 years.
This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
This position is subject to a Drug screenings.
This position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
Term employment is subject to a one year trial period.
Occasionally irregular work shifts are required.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Range Support Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform common target systems repair duties. I can perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.- Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical Effort: Lifts and carries equipment up to 50 lbs. Frequently lifts target mechanisms with other large range components up to 100 pounds with assistance. Work involves prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching and working in cramped spaces.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in both an inside shop and outside on the ranges. Exposed to the prevailing weather conditions; hot & humid and cold & damp. Subject to injury from working with hand and power tools. Possibility of electrical shock when working with electrical systems. Exposed to dangers of live fire ranges, high voltage, and wild animals. May be exposed to sulfuric acid when handling batteries.
