Assign radio frequency allocations, resolve conflicting assignment requests, and provide end-user technical support across all spectrum management operations.
Coordinate with the Army Frequency Management Office and regulatory stakeholders to secure, authorize, and maintain frequencies for tactical and garrison systems.
Analyze and resolve Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) issues and ensure Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) across radar, satellite, and mobile communications.
Collaborate with Army program managers and engineers to integrate RF spectrum requirements, hardware, and wiring layouts into facility designs.
Serve as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) and spokesperson for spectrum management, representing the organization in technical committees and sustainability initiatives.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the successful completion of a recognized DoD or service Frequency/Spectrum Management qualification course.
Secret Security Clearance T3.
This is a Testing Designated Position; incumbent is required to take a pre-employment drug screening and periodically thereafter.
Occasional travel away from the normal duty station up to 15% of the time.
May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. The employee may be required to work overtime.
Lifting and moving computer equipment weighing up to 25 pounds may be required.
May be required to carry a cellular telephone and maintain a working home telephone at all times.
Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position.
May be required to work shift work if the organization moves to a 24/7 operation.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain a valid government vehicle operator’s license.

3. Coordinating with military, federal, or civil frequency management authorities (e.g., Army Frequency Management Office, NTIA, FCC, or commercial equivalents) for frequency authorizations, renewals, and compliance.
4. Providing technical guidance to engineering teams, project managers, or leadership on RF layout design, hardware integration, or telecommunications facility planning.
