Duties

Help
  • Create and update routing lists, assign roles and permission levels, maintain traveler profiles, create and maintain lines of accounting and budget shells, and provide first line helpdesk support.
  • Serve as the Debt Management Monitor and Compliance Tool Administrator for the Defense Travel System organization under the operational control of the Command.
  • Serve as the command's Government Travel Charge Card, Agency Program Coordinator providing support to organizations.
  • Serve as the primary Command representative for the Training Government Purchase Card Program.
  • Provide formal and individual training to travelers and cardholders.
  • Coordinate with subordinate commands on resolution of identified travel deficiencies within their commands.

  • Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program. Certification Level 2: Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes utilizing automated systems to process civilian timecards and payroll, drafting reports to provide leadership with status of payroll processing, and identifying and resolving issues such as employee inquires and/or processing errors.

OR

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position such as business administration, accounting, or finance. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)


OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
