Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced levels.
Serves as the subject matter specialist in the development and/or revision of training materials such as study guides, workbooks, written tests, progress checks, etc.
Monitors and evaluates student progress and performance.
Inputs necessary data into the Technical Training Management System (TTMS).

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level (or other equivalent pay systems) in federal service which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is experience which may have been gained performing technical training instructor classroom-related activities, as well as support course curriculum development/revision efforts, for initial skills, advanced, and/or supplemental Technical Training utilizing approved curriculum in support of communications cable and antenna.

EDUCATION: Two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or master's or equivalent graduate degree in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100 percent. To combine education and experience, determine the total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then determine the education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. Finally, add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPT TO VERIFY YOUR EDUCATION.

Ability to analyze problems and develop appropriate solutions. Skill in written and oral communication.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
Minimum degree requirement of an associate's degree from CCAF or a regionally or nationally accredited post-secondary institution in the discipline or in combination with appropriate work experience in Aircraft Maintenance with a specialty in electronic and environmental systems and methods and techniques of instruction.
Normal color vision as defined in DAFMAN 48-123, Medical Examinations and Standards. Physical ability to perform climbing duties and freedom from fear of heights. Specific visual requirements is normal vision. Ability to distinguish basic colors. Hearing (aid permitted).
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
