Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain Hazmat certification.
Incumbent must be able to obtain packaging certification.
Incumbent is required to possess or obtain a government driver's license and successfully pass an Army approved defensive driving certification course.
Pre-employment physical is required and annual physical thereafter.
Qualifications

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
Interpret and apply supply regulations, policies, and procedures in the movement of hazardous materials;
Use an automated supply system to execute the acquisition of hazardous products;
Compile supply information and data to identify discrepancies; and maintain inventory control and records of hazardous materials.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next or second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05 or GS-06).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
