Duties

Help

Operates the administrative/clerical functions in support of the Joint Base Golf Program. Incumbent is responsible for
maintaining and reporting payroll for the facility(s). Establishes and maintains individual pay records, creates individual time
records for each pay period, verifies pay action documents/spreadsheets, updates employee records, and completes all related
reports. Inputs individual schedule information within the payroll system, ensures time records are correct prior to approval of
timesheets. Assists with inventory; receiving and counting. Sells merchandise, operates POS system as needed, receives and
process payments. Types and prepares all required correspondence. Administers all golf program related PR's, receiving in IBPS,
and asset related forms. Maintains accurate customer files and databases. Coordinates Accounts Receivables/Payables with
customers and vendors for both golf courses and all related departments. Collects, verifies, safeguards, and deposits funds
received in the daily operation of the facility. Balances, maintains and submits accurate daily 1876 reconciliation reports.
Maintains office supplies. Establishes and maintains all office files. Follows instructions for being a P-CARD holder. Answers
telephone and coordinates calls. Assists with the booking of Tournaments and Grill Special Functions in the absence of the
Director of Golf and Cook Supervisor. On own initiative and on a continuing basis, devises and recommends changes in
administrative procedures, internal controls, and ensures their applicability to changing needs or changes in administrative
regulations. Administers internal priorities and suspenses, and develops procedures to meet general administrative requirements.
Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Golf or Golf Course Superintendent in the absence of the Operations
Supervisor. Position is a position of trust. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:

Must have progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work, which has provided a comprehensive knowledge of
office automation software such as MS Office programs. Must be able to format and use the appropriate grammar & spelling.
Experience must have provided the ability to select, arrange & compose materials to support the duties & responsibilities of the
position. Experience must have demonstrated strong organization skills and ability to maintain files. Must also have experience in
the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash
and (2) use of cash accountability control procedures. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to read, write & speak
English. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires.

Education
