Summary

Responsible for property accountability to include hand receipt management, performing inventories, and maintaining stock levels.
Preforms property disposal functions: accepting turn-in, prepares excess and surplus equipment for disposal and/or restock, and coordinates items for turn-in.
Responsible for warehouse operations to stock and/or store property to stock expendable and durable supplies and to move large and/or bulky property.
Purchases supplies, equipment, printing, and training utilizing Government Purchase Card (GPC).
Responsible for customer service to include responding to inquiries, answering the door, and answering the phone.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the incumbent to possess a valid state driver's license.
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain operator's permit/license for forklift.
Position has a lifting requirement of 40lbs.
Pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes support functions such as: 1. Warehouse and supply management; 2. Property Accountability; 3. Government Purchase Card; 4. Demonstrating clear and effective communication skills with customers and management; 5. Providing customer service. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
