Duties

Help
  • Classify emergency service orders (SO) and Individual Job Orders (IJOs) utilizing the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance System (FEMS) to prevent critical system failures and ensure rapid technical response.
  • Execute the full life cycle of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) acceptances to support utilities, contracted services, and construction projects.
  • Document the receipt of materials and services to verify compliance with shop operations and meet company payment obligations.
  • Create reports from operational data retrieved from automated sources to provide leadership with insights on facility upkeep and fund utilization.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Inputting job orders into an automated work management system to route work to appropriate technical shops, Assisting with the processing of procurement documents, internal purchase requisition, purchase requests, or vendor records to verify compliance with procurement guidelines AND Serving as a receiving official in order to document the delivery of materials and services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
