Operating the checkout counter, customer service, assuring cleanliness of all facilities, etc. Trains
employees in all aspects of daily operations to include but not limited to: cash handling, procedures, customer service, etc.
Custodial for ERM. Ensures all cash handling procedures are in compliance with applicable regulations and directives.
Knowledgeable of all services provided such as key cutting, copy machine usage, park rental, UPS, resale operations, etc.
Forecasts requirement for program supplies, equipment, and property for operations and other areas. Keeps/files appropriate
accounting paperwork and documentation as required for accurate operations. Completes daily paperwork and end of month
processes for areas within ODR as necessary. Provides information related to self-directed recreation/adventure opportunities,
base parks, Fam camp, RV, resale lot, Stables, BMX track, paintball, the Skeet and Trap activity, etc. Assists in planning and
executing base wide events. Receives, processes and collects, safeguards, and deposits fees received from all ODR facilities.
Performs timekeeper duties for ODR staff. Responsible for planning, scheduling, developing, scouting, and arranging support
services for ongoing OAP and activities. Responsible for ensuring the programs/activities are carried out safely and without
problem. Provides instruction on different programs/activities. Enforces safety policies and procedures. Briefs OAP at various
functions on base. Receives and relays customer complaints to director and requests for special programs/activities. Operates a
government vehicle - up to 21 passenger van or bus - to and from various OAP both on and off the installation. Develops
programs as specified by management; creates all marketing requests, expenditures and after action reports, etc. Makes purchases
as necessary for daily operation and trips. Obtains permits and plans departures and meeting with customers. Responsible for
proper operation of equipment rental, ensuring all needed items are in professional working order (cleaned, fastened, operational).
Keeps up to date spreadsheets and records. Ensures customer payments are up to date. Performs other duties as assigned. May
be required to work uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and family days.
This is a drug testing designation position (TDP). Incumbent is subject to random screening for drug use.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience in recreation retail/rental management, customer service, and funds handling required. College degree in recreation or
equivalent or two years progressively responsible work experience directly related to the position desired. Knowledge and ability
to competently and independently carry out a continuing ODR program. Knowledge of the range of activities and services of
participants' interest and needs and of the methods and processes involved in providing a program that meets the needs of the
base. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Valid driver's license required to operate a government vehicle on or off the
military installation. Satisfactory completion of National Agency Check w/Inquiries (NACI) required.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
