I have the ability to perform common Materials Handler (Forklift Operator/Hazmat). I can perform warehousing operations which include 1) receiving, storing and issuing a wide variety of supplies and equipment; and 2) unloading, inspecting, and tallying stock to assure quantities and types of items agree with shipping documents. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Physical Effort: The incumbent is required to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time and to bend, stoop and work in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. Lifting items that weigh up to 75 lbs. Heavier items are moved with weight handling equipment or with assistance from others.
Working Conditions: Work is accomplished inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty or poorly lighted. The incumbent is exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, bruises, abrasions, falls and injury from falling stock. There is routine exposure to dust, dirt, grease, high noise levels in mechanized work areas and may occasionally be subject to exposure to toxins or chemical fumes. Safety shoes and protective goggles are a requirement of the position.
