Operates cash register, rings up the sale, receives money and makes change, processes credit card sale, or charges to member's account. At the end of each tour of duty clears the cash register, and turns over cash, cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, club tokens, coupons, and other supporting documents as instructed. May be required to prepare bank deposits and ensure daily deposit is completed in a timely manner. May prepare cash reports and notify supervisor of any suspected irregularities. Cashes checks and accepts payment for dues and charges to accounts. Accepts and processes new membership applications. Conducts daily inventories. Maintains area in clean and orderly condition.
In a Food Activity: Performs check-out duties such as taking orders, ringing up food, beverages, and merchandise by individual item; delivering prepared food items to clients, totaling sales, processing credit card sales, receiving money and making change. May perform related food-service duties such as setting tables, assisting in setting up the serving line, replenishing beverage dispensers, ensuring kitchen staff is advised when buffet line needs replenishment and dining area clean-up. Performs other related duties as assigned.
In a Bingo Activity: Performs check-out such as selling bingo cards and session packs and other associated session and special game cards to include Quick Shot Cards and Electronic Cards. May be required to performs other duties such as bingo calling and verifying winners. May be required to take/deliver food orders to participants. May be required to take payment and make change. Performs other related duties as assigned.
