What to Expect:

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the Vending warehouse to include: purchasing, ordering, rebate and volume accountability, pre-pick operations, inventory accountability, inventory forecasting through software utilization and preparing all reports and invoices for processing.

  • Manages inventory levels of assigned warehouses for a multi-million-dollar activity to include a variety of bottled beverages, a variety of snack items, cold and frozen foods.

  • Responsible for ensuring product integrity to include product rotation, movement, and awareness of product expiration dates upon receiving and with issues, returns and transfers, meets and communicates with various vendors to negotiate special pricing and deals, and coordinate delivery dates.

  • Supervises employees to include: assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, disciplinary actions, completing performance reviews, signing timesheets, training employees, keeping abreast of and actively supporting the principles of the EEO program, and prevention of sexual harassment.

  • Inspects locations to ensure machines are marked in such a fashion to ensure maximum sales potential and displayed in accordance with prescribed procedures. 

  • Some combinations of standing, stooping, bending, walking, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. 

  • Requires working and driving in inclement weather.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What are looking for?

  • Must possess a thorough working knowledge of procedures associated with vending operation, inventory management, or warehouse operations.

  • Must possess administrative skills and experience with a computer and its traditional peripheral equipment.

  • Must be able to read and prepare reports related to vending services.

  • Must be capable of assisting in most phases of Vending Services and be able to fill voids, when necessary, to include duties and responsibilities in the absence of lower graded employees.

  • Must be capable of supervising the service and replenishment of all vending machines and Micro Markets.

  • Must be capable of operating vehicles ranging from 7,000 to 22,000 pounds and a 3,000-pound forklift.

  • Valid driver's license is required.
