Duties

Help

Provides program management and administrative support to the assigned Service Center and stakeholders that impact the FSEP program and FSEP database.   

Manages the program, analyzes and evaluates the program life cycle management before execution of FSEP duties.  Analyzes facility records and data using databases, query techniques, and analytics to assess accuracy of data, trends, and performance metrics for the program. 

Conducts analyses in the review and evaluation of program activities. Conducts analyses to ensure proper program integration and conformance to policy, completeness, and adequacy of operations in meeting goals and objectives. Prepares recommendations based on reviews, and discusses recommended courses of action with program managers to resolve problem areas. Recommendations include but are not limited to programmatic interfaces, and impact of not meeting goals and objectives. 

Interprets policy and guidance and makes recommendations where appropriate. Coordinates with the Operations and makes recommendations for solutions. Reviews and analyzes draft regulations, manual chapters and directives referred to the group for comment. Based on this analysis, refers proposed issuance to appropriate group for review; and collects and integrates the various responses. Establishes and maintains a tracking system to assure that all draft issuances are reviewed, consolidated, and comments submitted in a timely manner. 

Develops internal procedures, reports, and methods on a variety of management functions and activities in one or more of the following areas - reporting utilization, process improvement and process methods, and standards development, goals and objectives, business management, program tracking and/or information management. 

Communicates program goals and initiatives to the field, technical considerations and feedback to the program, and educates users of the system on techniques to optimize performance. 

Uses core business skills, professional communication, writing skills and/or technical writing skills, problem-solving and organizational skills, and time-management. 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FG-13 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

Specialized experience is:

  • Experience working with the Facility, Service, and Equipment Profile (FSEP) Database, data analysis.
  • Experience in conducting training/training and/or facilitation.
