Leads Branch personnel in developing and executing end to end project plans for strategic assessments that inform USCYBERCOM’s senior leadership.
Collaborates with the Division Chief and J8 leadership to structure a comprehensive program of operations research analyses supporting strategic decision making.
Leads project teams in converting strategic assessment results into the formal products required by DoW program planning processes.
Interprets high level strategic guidance from senior national and DoW authorities and translates it into feasible analytical tasks, assessment questions, and long range study plans.
Oversees supplemental analyses required to support budget validation, spend plan optimization, and programmatic advocacy across the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP).
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Employee must pass initial and periodic random drug testing.
The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 10% of the time.
The incumbent may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.

AND Meet Basic Education Requirement:
Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
