Duties

Help

Position in fulfillment department, to include picking, packing, auditing, and shipping customer and store orders. Engrave dog tags and swords as needed. 

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.  Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact.  Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems.  Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services.  Takes action to solve problems quickly.  Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. 

Fulfills orders, including special requests, in an accurate and timely manner. Follows fulfillment procedures when picking, packing, and invoicing orders, including completion of correct documentation, and auditing for accuracy before shipping orders. Restocks returned items from customers and stores as requested by supervisor. Pulls inventory from TMS and verify against transfer.

Operates electronic engraving equipment for several mediums to include metal, wood and plastic. Sets up all equipment for operation, prepares orders, keeps equipment clean and in safe condition.  

Adheres to safety regulations and standards.  Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures.  Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. 

Performs other related duties as required.

Responsibility

: Work is performed with minimal supervision.Responsible for picking, packing, and invoicing orders, prepackage bulk items (plates, placemats, posters, coasters). And backfill and/or stock inventory as requested. Assist with cycle counts and fiscal inventory as needed. Top of Form

Obtains required materials, maintains adequate levels of inventory. 

Bottom of Form

Follows accepted methods, procedures, and techniques to compete assigned tasks. Completed work is checked for adherence to specifications.

Physical Effort

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; climb or balance; and sit

. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs. independently and objects over 45 lbs. with assistance. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

: The work environment varies by temperature and conditions throughout the facility. There are varying degrees of noise, dust, and crowding throughout the facility while performing the essential functions of this job. Exposed to noise of electronic equipment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Possess a High School Diploma. Demonstrates the ability to meet customer service standards and to fulfill quality and timely distribution of products.Assists in maintaining accurate inventory by pulling correct items, and auditing orders prior to packing and identifying inventory discrepancies.

Must have the ability to operate electronic engraving equipment. Must have the ability to calculate proper settings for multiple engraving surfaces. Knowledge of computer graphics, and an eye for detail. Must be well versed in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Works independently in a team-oriented environment. Ability to accurately count items. Possess strong initiative and self-motivationWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Ability to work with mathematical concepts as applicable to a retail environment.

Assist with all departmental duties including shipping as requested.
