As a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Security) at the GS-2210- 14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Providing expert cyber related and technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to USMS management.
Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices.
Preparing and maintaining detailed technical, project planning, and management documentation concerning computer security projects.
Advising and interacting with executive level officials.

Qualifications
GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-2210-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
Specialized Experience: Must have one year (52 weeks) of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service performing the following duties:
1. Providing technical advice, guidance, and assistance on critical IT security issues;
2. Managing a secure IT program consistent with organizational guidelines and standards;
3. Applying knowledge of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage secure enterprise requirements; and
4. Preparing and maintaining detailed technical, project planning, and management documentation concerning computer security projects and the computer security portions of systems development projects. (NOTE: Your resume must CLEARLY demonstrate this experience.)
