Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position is required to be screened for and obtain necessary immunizations/vaccinations(hepatitis, influenza, etc.), unless exempted by a licensed physician.
This position is required to work uncommon tours of duty hours such as, on-call, working either fixed or rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
This position is designated “Mission Essential”. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent may be required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
This position is subject to TDY or business travel requirements to various locations. This may require travel via privately owned vehicles, commercial transport platforms, and/or military aircraft, ships, and vehicles.

Basic Requirement for Nutritionist (Program Manager):
Degree: Bachelor's or graduate (or higher level) degree in the field of dietetics, food, nutrition, food service management, institution management, or related science in an educational program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
OR
Completion of a coordinated undergraduate program, internship, or other clinical component approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) (formerly American Dietetic Association (ADA)) for dietitians or nutritionists.
OR
Professional registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Exemption: You are exempt from the basic requirements above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0630 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing nutrition related contracts, developing food service program requirements, analyzing operational data to support funding decisions, and assisting in the oversight of employee workload and training..
