Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer

OUR MISSION: To fulfill President Lincoln's promise to care for those who have served in our nation's military and for their families, caregivers, and survivors. How would you like to become a part of a team providing compassionate care to Veterans?

HRSC is building something that has no precedent in VA Human Resources: a Quality Management framework grounded in ISO 9001 principles and the GAO Green Book, applied to Federal Human Resource operations at scale. This position sits at the center of that effort. The work is rigorously done and translates into real recommendations, drives process improvement across HRSC and its delegated offices, and informs how the agency approaches Human Resources Quality Management more broadly.

This is a technical audit and compliance role at its foundation. It is designed for someone who is self-directed, analytically sharp, and motivated by building something new rather than maintaining something already established.
