This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AR-190-11, Physical Security of
Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AAE).
This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AMCR 350-4, Training and
Certification Program of personnel working in Ammunition Operations.

Specialized Experience Statement: One year of specialized experience which includes: performing transportation and logistics duties, including managing, shipping, receiving; selecting the appropriate carriers and modes of transport based on shipment size, route availability, and security requirements; preparing shipping documentation such as bills of lading; coordinating special handling for oversized or classified materials; maintaining transportation records; and providing administrative support including travel orders, training files, and correspondence preparation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
