This is open to all employees within U.S. Army Cyber Command (AR2A) Block 47.
Serves as U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command Lead ITAS Approver.
Approver of Army ITAS waivers for U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) 3/5/7 and Information Assurance (IA) security.
Subject matter expert on the Army Information Technology Approval System (ITAS) advising NETCOM, ARCYBER, HQDA CIO/G-6, Army Commands (ACOM), Army Service Component Commands, and Direct Reporting Units (DRU).
Provide information assurance and security approvals for ITAS waivers submitted by all ACOMs.
Senior advisor on all ITAS Committees and working groups for policy development, systems functionality and processes.
Supports updates and maintenance of the ITAS Desk Side Reference Manual and ITAS training materials and tutorials.
Produce statistics and reports regarding ITAS waivers.
Provide technical advice to Army Commands and staff offices.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
In accordance with Change 3 of AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must successfully pass a urinalysis for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
The IT classification for this position is IT III. Position is designated as Special Sensitive.
This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85.
Signing of a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program) acknowledging periodic random drug testing requirements is mandatory prior
to being placed into this position. Those individuals not currently occupying a TDP position must successfully complete a preappointment drug test prior to being placed into this position and periodically thereafter.
This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
