As an Operations Clerk, you will perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and financial support duties, including:
Administrative Support: Performing general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, maintaining files, setting tentative appointments for the supervisor, and arranging staff meetings.
Financial & Accounting Tasks: Assisting with cashier deposit reports, completing Consolidated Cost Center reports, and preparing and consolidating daily activity AF Form 1875s (deposits and reports). Serving as the alternate responsible custodian for the office petty cash fund.
Data Entry & Software Utilization: Utilizing MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to produce correspondence, reports, and other materials. Assisting in entering invoices into the NAF Resale Inventory System (NAFRIS), ESSOH-MIS, and GES software, as well as making inputs into daily 1876s in the Services Agency Information System (SAIS).
Payroll & Timekeeping: Assisting with payroll duties as a timekeeper and making inputs to SETS timesheets.
Additional Duties: Performing Records Custodian (RC) functions for the work center. Occasionally filling in as a golf shop clerk as required.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Experience: Must have at least 3 months of practical knowledge and/or experience in clerical or office work of any kind demonstrating the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
Technical Skills: Skill and working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Must be a qualified typist.
Customer Service & Cash Handling: Cash handling experience and good customer service skills are strictly required.
Personal Attributes: Must be highly detail-oriented, work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a golf course retail store, or a similar environment, is highly desirable (but not required).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
