Serve as a Senior Information Technology Management Specialist for Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) and the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Division.
Plan, coordinate, draft, monitor, analyze, and report required levels of customer service and recommend organizational/service improvements based upon analysis.
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of processes and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of Service Management
(SM) systems.
Serve in the capacity of primary project officer on specific project or system development efforts on major, large-scale, complex, and labor intensive projects.
Manage and provide upgrades that capitalizes on new technology insertion and the integration of complementary technologies to support the timely exchange
and protection of battlefield information.
Conduct coordination, analyze business process/service requirements, and make recommendations to functional managers on policy and service changes.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber
work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level:
1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).
This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as
a condition of employment.
