  • You will provide expert analytical, advisory, and oversight services for complex acquisition programs and contracts.
  • You will ensure contractor performance aligns with statutory, regulatory, and mission requirements and provides programmatic and financial oversight consistent with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency policy.
  • You will monitor contractor performance for compliance with contract terms, performance work statements (PWS), service level agreements (SLAs), and deliverable schedules.
  • You will provide acquisition and program analysis across multiple Acquisition Pathways.
  • You will track obligation and expenditure rates against funding appropriations.

  • This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
  • This is an acquisition coded position categorized as Program Management at the acquisition certification tier of Practitioner level.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:

1. Providing expert analytical, advisory, and oversight services for complex acquisition programs and contracts;

2. Monitoring contractor performance for compliance with contract terms, performance work statements (PWS), service level agreements (SLAs), and deliverable schedules;

3. Identifying performance deficiencies and recommending corrective actions to the Contracting Officer (CO);

AND 4. Conducting risk identification and mitigation planning in coordination with Program Management Office (PMO).

This position has been designated as a Defense Acquisition Workforce position and the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification Tier: Practitioner and Career Category: Program Management. Incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66. Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPS) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66. Commencing from the time the member enters an AWF position throughout his or her continuous tenure in the AWF. Obtaining certification within the allotted grace period and maintaining CLPs before and after achieving certification are conditions of employment. Failure to meet these requirements could result in disciplinary action and/or removal from employment.
