  • Serves as Project Engineer with responsibility for monitoring construction operations on assigned projects for the Resident Office(s).
  • Assigned projects have civil, mechanical, electrical and architectural features and criteria.
  • Duties and responsibilities of the position require a thorough knowledge of engineering and architectural theory and practices and the making of engineering determinations concerning the various features of the work.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Minimum Education Requirement:

Engineering: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering. The program must: lead to a degree in a school with at least one program accredited by ABET. Degree must be documented on a transcript.

Architecture: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study or specific course requirements.

Specialized Experience:

Experienced Project Engineer skilled in managing multidisciplinary construction projects-civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural. Proven success in handling change orders, ensuring EM 385-1-1 safety compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget. Adept at applying engineering principles to solve complex construction challenges.
