Performs a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, processing, storing, and shipping a variety of bin and bulk supplies, materials, equipment, and commodities.

Qualifications
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standard for Trades and Labor Occupations. Physical Effort
Stands on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Uses weight handling equipment or receives assistance from other workers for items heavier than 40 pounds.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a warehouse environment and outside containment areas on a year round basis. Work is usually performed in areas that are hot, cold, or damp. Subject to cuts, bruises, abrasions, and scrapes and are subject to hazards involved in working around moving equipment, i.e., fork lifts, trucks, cranes and conveyors. When working with preservatives, may be exposed to noxious fumes, skin irritants, and flammable chemicals. If working with hazardous materials, must wear protective clothing, respirators or other specialized devices. in addition to basic protective equipment (hard hats, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.). Subject to shift rotation with odd/irregular tours of duty. Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate state and/or government licensing needed to operate MHE and vehicles.
