Duties

Help

At the full performance level, major duties include:

  • Contributes to the development of cyclical and ad-hoc management reports, to include business intelligence dashboards, incorporating both financial and non-financial data.
  • Contributes to the development of business processes and related information technology solutions utilizing approved, program, project, and content management platforms.
  • Serves as a liaison at the project level between CFOO business line staff and the CIOO staff. Coordinate with other FDIC Divisions/Offices, as appropriate, to improve and maximize efficiencies and consistency.
  • Serves as a liaison regarding all matters pertaining to the management of CFOO’s content placed on the FDIC’s Internet and FDICnet servers through the use of information technology. Incumbent also serves as point of contact regarding the release of CFOO information for internal and external publication.
  • Prepares reports, briefings and other presentations for CFOO management on the status of assigned projects and new technologies.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-09 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience supporting information technology projects including designing, testing, implementing and monitoring systems and applications; and supporting development of web content, to include integration of applications and implementation of web pages based on defined user requirements. OR

EDUCATION: To qualify based on education; applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M., if related. OR

COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-11 level.
