The duties and responsibilities of a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Responsible for providing oversight of mail management and printing related programs.
*Coordinate services involving mail management, fleet management, transportation and worldwide delivery services management, property utilization and disposal program.
*Provide solutions to warehousing, moving services, distribution services and logistics management.
*Manage the Justice Management Division mail services program.
*Manages the mail and warehousing services budget operating plans.

  • You must be a United States Citizen or National.
  • You must successfully pass a security/background investigation and a drug screening.
  • You must be a current permanent Department of Justice employee with competitive status or a CTAP/RPL eligible candidate.
  • You must meet all applicable time-in-grade requirements by the closing of this announcement.

  • Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after December 31, 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.
  • Supervisory Probationary Period: First time supervisors and/or managers will be required to serve a one-year probationary period.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, at GS-0346-14, you must meet the specialized experience listed below:

For the GS-14, you must have on year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service providing mail distribution services needed to handle the receipt, internal distribution, and dispatching of mail; and develops policy relating to mail management, fleet management and/or delivery services management.

You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 08/04/2026 of this announcement.

How you will be evaluated

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
