You will perform inspection and te4sting of heating and power boilers, unfired pressure vessels, piping, and related controls and equipment to ensure accordance with applicable codes.
You will perform review of construction / installation of boilers and unfired pressure vessels to ensure manufacture and installation is in accordance with applicable codes.
You will perform special inspections of tests as a result of oral or written requests.
You will assist in the investigation of mishaps involving equipment failure and/or personnel injury.
You will prepare reports of test and inspection results and forward to the appropriate agency or department.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: inspecting and testing boilers, boiler plant equipment and unfired pressure vessels; AND determining the condition of these equipment.
