Duties

Help
  • Responsible for the overall operation of a department within the sales store.
  • Operates a cash register, records sales and gives change.
  • Assists senior buyer in merchandise selection and ordering process to include working with vendors, ordering and receiving merchandise, processing documents associated with ordering and receiving.
  • Leads the work of other employees within the department, gives guidance and instructions on specific task or daily functions of stocking, merchandise display and selling activities.
  • Establishes work assignments to meet peak loads and emergencies.. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 5 background investigation.
  • Medical Certification/Exam is required.

Experience in retail sales, merchandising, cash register operations and inventory controls.
