Duties

Help
  • Supervises sales floor associates to achieve quality customer service, an aesthetically pleasing, properly stocked sales floor, and accurate record keeping of sales.
  • Schedules sales floor staff to include monitoring daily breaks. Achieves profitable sales goals by providing exemplary customer service, i.e. cashiering, stocking and customer assistance and motivates staff to follow suit.
  • Works closely with Manager to coordinate mark downs and reorders to maintain adequate stock selection of merchandise. Administrates and participates in restocking and verifying all items are properly presented on the sales floor.
  • Participates in annual inventory and daily merchandise spot counts as necessary. Responsible for back stock organization and maintenance.
  • Performs other task related to the store as needed and attends all Army required training.

  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 5 background investigation.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop and reach with arms over head repeatedly and frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • During special events may be required to work outdoors to support retail operation under tents.
  • Also maybe required to work in non-air condition spaces.
  • Certification/medical exam is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain NSA access/TS/SCI POLY/ DRUG TESTING/LIFT 40LBS
  • Occasional Travel may be required for this position.

Qualifications

  • One (1) year of experience with Retail, Point of Sale Cash Register, Supervisory or Administrative. Experience with computers and computer software.
  • Knowledge of exemplary customer service
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic is required when receiving cash for sales and making change.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
