Ensures surveillance, evaluation, and planning to ensure efficient utilization of facilities and works with appropriate entities for acquisitions, maintenance, and improvements.
Administers the Personal Identity Verification system.
Supervises administrative employees.
Determines training needs of staff.
Advises, counsels, and instructs subordinate employees on work and administrative matters.

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENT: As a current Federal, GS employee you must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level.

Specialized Experience: To qualify at the GS-12 Grade Level: You must have one year of Specialized Experience which is equivalent to the GS-11 level. Examples of specialized experience include knowledge of and technical skill in the application of property management, contracting activity, budget execution, supply and procurement procedures, records management, and vehicle fleet management. Demonstrated knowledge of the methods and techniques of administration and finance functions to shape and control the direction of the Regional Office operations which impact the overall efficiency of all business lines.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social).
