As theSupervisory Logistics Management Specialist GS-0346-12- you are responsible for the centralized command and control, planning, and execution of all wing deployment operations and the distribution of cargo and passengers. The flight is responsible for the execution of AEF Management, Unit Type Code (UTC)Management, In-Garrison Expeditionary Site Planning, and Installation Deployment Planning. The Deployment and Distribution Flight also operates a Deployment Control Center (DCC), Reception Control Center (RCC), and Installation Deployment Readiness Cell (IDRC), as necessary. This flight is responsible for the management of the wing's War Reserve Materiel (WRM) and Support Agreements. Additionally the flight is the single installation transportation authority for planning, managing, and executing the movement of personnel as well as the shipment and receipt for DoD cargo; during day to day and contingency operations. -OR-
As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER-TITLE 32, GS-0346-13, you will manage complex base logistics functions to include Operations Compliance, Cargo Movement, Air Transportation, Logistics Plans, Vehicle Maintenance and Management, Ground Transportation, Fuels Management and Material Management. Directs and coordinates logistics activities including the authorized procurement and provisioning of supplies and services and management of materials and equipment. Exercises independent judgment involving major decisions and actions that have a direct and substantial effect on the organizations and programs managed. Resolves policy issues at NGB and the State level of the organization where the complexity is such where other employees have been unable to develop solutions. Resolves informal complaints through discussion and negotiation with employees, supervisors and union representatives, and mediates problems between subordinate flights. Responsible for overall management of the units' resources, manpower, equipment accountability and internal controls. Provides oversight of resources devoted to the Wing's War Reserve Materials and mobility programs, for both personnel and equipment, while advising the Wing Commander on the most effective use of the organization's mobility and readiness budget. Oversees and/or participates in unit assessments, inspections, installation deployment plans, deployments, disaster preparedness exercises, and Crisis Action Team (CAT) operations required to maintain the highest state of readiness. Directs the Wing's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in support of local and regional exercises and/or real-world contingencies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
Experience involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 36 months experience identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring functions such as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.

In addition to the minimum requirements and specialized experience, must serve as the base senior Logistics Management Officer/Commander assigned to the 123 Logistics Readiness Squadron
