Summary

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license. May be required to transport others in and around the cemetery.
Position has been designated "Mission Essential". (see additional information)
Position is designated as Inclement Weather Essential. The incumbent must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. (see additional information)
Position requires the employee the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (lbs), considered heavy lifting.
Must wear uniform IAW AR 670-10 local policy.
One year probationary period may be required

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Mobile Equipment Servicer (MVO) ~ without more than normal supervision. performing common mechanical tasks such as checking fluid levels, changing filters, cleaning battery boxes, flushing radiators, lubricating fittings, and replacing small parts and accessories on mobile equipment - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical Effort: Lifts objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and lifts heavier items with assistance. Incumbent frequently walks, stands, bends, reaches, and works in awkward positions. The incumbent frequently works on top of equipment at heights up to 18 feet above the ground. Physical effort is needed at this level to maneuver the longer and heavier vehicles, especially when backing these vehicles.
Working Conditions: Incumbent works outside in all types of weather. Indoor work is done in dirty, oily, and greasy areas where there is constant exposure to cuts, bruises and burns. Incumbent operates motor vehicles on public roads all over the surrounding area in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions
