Help

In this position, you will:
- Supervise warehouse receiving operations, including verifying incoming shipments against shipping documents and purchase orders, inspecting materials for damage or discrepancies, and ensuring proper processing of received goods.
- Direct the storage, movement, issuance, and distribution of supplies, materials, and equipment to support efficient warehouse and receiving operations.
- Oversee the proper labeling, identification, staging, and rotation of materials to maintain accurate accountability and efficient retrieval of stored items.
- Supervise loading and unloading operations and ensure the safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other materials handling equipment.
- Ensure receiving records, shipping documents, and property management system entries are accurately processed and maintained in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor warehouse and dock operations to ensure compliance with established safety procedures, hazardous materials handling requirements, and operational policies.
- Assign work to subordinate employees, provide on-the-job instruction and guidance, monitor work performance, and resolve routine operational and workflow issues.
- Perform administrative supervisory responsibilities such as evaluating employee performance, approving leave, identifying training needs, and ensuring adequate staffing coverage for assigned operations.

Qualifications

There is no specific length or level of experience requirements. The applicant's overall background of experience, education, and training must clearly demonstrate the ability to lead or supervise employees engaged in warehouse receiving, storage, shipping/receiving, or materials handling operations.

AND

You must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle weighing 26,000 pounds or more as evidenced by a valid, current Commercial driver's license (CDL).
