Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must pass the Army Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam and receive Army Black Belt candidate status within 24 Months.
Must meet Data Analytic level two (2) certification within 24 months of appointment.
This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
Qualifications

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing and evaluating new or modified policies and procedures; leading or participating in project teams to resolve complex operational problems; providing guidance on process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma; and offering technical expertise on Quality Assurance (QA) policies and procedures and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as LMP, GCSS-A or GFEBS to support supply, logistics and business processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS11)
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
